Why is our nation in the mess we’re in?
The root cause is pride — the foundational sin. Man has put himself and his ideas above God and His ways. Christianity has become diluted with lies and bad theology. Pretend Christians and weak Christians have turned over many of their Biblical and proper responsibilities to government. It’s human nature to avoid responsibility. Eve tried to pass it off on Satan. Adam tried to pass it off on Eve. We try to pass it off as government’s responsibility, not ours.
We must return to personal, family and church responsibility for most of what we look to government for.
Civil government is to PROTECT life, liberty & private property. That’s all. Most of the functions of our current civil government (especially nationally) are not just unnecessary expenses, but very counterproductive due to unintended (optimistically) consequences.
